Start with project photos, room scans or a floor-plan sketch, measurements, and relevant claim details. For mitigation, include drying logs and work records; specialty bids can also help. Align will confirm any missing information for your project.
With Estimate Writing, you receive a finalized estimate after your team’s review and handle carrier communication yourself. Claim Support continues after your approval with carrier communication and revisions supported by the project documentation.
Mike prepares the estimate from your job documentation and sends a draft to your team. You review the project details and give the go-ahead before it is finalized or sent to the carrier with Claim Support.
Estimate Writing costs the greater of 1.25% of the final estimated dollar amount or $125 per estimate. Claim Support costs 5% of the approved total and includes estimate writing. A $125 upfront start payment is required; confirm the written payment terms before work begins.
Estimate preparation depends on receiving the required documentation and knowing which service you need. Missing or unclear information may need to be resolved first, so confirm timing for your project directly with Align. Carrier review is a separate step.
